1.Social Protection

In social protection, there is a number of indicators to be reported on, including households covered under FARG  Direct Support (DS), Vision  2020 Umurenge Program Direct Support (VUP DS), Genocides survivors supported to get shelter,  rehabilitated  under-five children with acute and chronic malnutrition and eligible  people employed under public works.

2.Education

Education is one of the key priorities for which the Government of Rwanda is focusing on in terms of priority areas for skills development program. In 2016/17  the focus  for the Western Province which  is also the focus of the whole country was  to improve  access to and quality of  education in all school levels.  Western Province’s district interventions in order to enhance the quality of education focus mainly to the  construction of new schools and classrooms to  respectively  reduce  the number distance to school and the number of students per classroom.

3.  Health

In order to improve the geographic accessibility to health care services and ensure universal coverage to the Rwandan population, the government started a national program of setting up a Health post at cell level where the population still has to walk more than 5 km to reach the nearest health facility. Health posts are the lowest health infrastructures which include in general Hospitals, Health centers and  Health Posts. However to allow proper health services accessibility, other factors are considered and promoted  as recorded in the table below.
